Babacool Arts is born from a lifelong passion for creativity. While my academic journey led me to study the fields of Ecology and Wildlife, art has always been a constant in my life. After years of nurturing my family and rediscovering my artistic voice, I have enjoyed embracing metalworking as my primary medium.
Inspired by the natural world and a touch of whimsical fantasy, I create sculptures that blend nature with historic, beautiful, discarded tools.
The move to New England (from Minnesota in 2014), with its stunning coastline and abundant natural and historic beauty, has provided endless inspiration. I am currently working in a beautiful barn as my dedicated studio, a space where I can fully immerse myself in the creative process.
